SEYDEL RETAILER- SEYDEL CUSTOMIZER- SEYDEL SERVICE PARTNER SWEDEN
I am proud to annonce that i have been offered and gladly accepted to become a Seydel Partner/Customizer/Service Partner Sweden. The partner ship will begin with retailíng the whole range of Seydel Harmonicas. From spring 2012 offering customized Brass and Steel reed Seydel Harmonicas.
I will offer Sjoeberg Custom Seydel Combs, built on the same concept used
in the Sjoeberg Custom GM Combs, full brass piped and with the unique mirror wised milled tines. The cusomization part is planned to begin during spring 2012.
The HarpTuner for Seydel Harmonicas is already a reality and can be bought from the webshop when it has been opened.
My ambition is to offer spare parts & special made custom tools for harmonicas.

UST News
Preparations for the production is running. Within one to two weeks, the first HarpTuners to see the light! I have made contact with a company that is committed to mill details for HT. I will assemble everything in my shop ..I am very happy about it. The first batch I will make to ensure that everythingis is to my specs before I let an outside company produce details.

UST update.
I have chosen to produce the UST Standard for 24 dollars and the UST plinker only. This is due to that i have found that the standard version offers exactly the same result as of the UST Index and the higher price of the UST index is no longer defendable.
HarpTuner update.
I will move the production of the HarpTuner to my workshop which in turns means that i have to stop taking orders within shortly for Sjoeberg Custom MB and GMs. I have to stay fully focused producing the HT. The production is estimeated to start in week 33.

New UST version.
An enhanced version of the UST Sizing Tool has been developed. It is called UST Standardand and cost only USD 24 or Euro 18 including free shipping worldwide. UST standard works the same way as the previous versions.Brendan Power said in an email that UST is ideal also for Suzuki with its welded Reed.
I felt from the very beginning when the UST was developed that it was necessary to add the so called "finger-indexing" to give full control over the tool. Through further development it can be noted that the UST Standard provides equivalent accuracy by its change of design while the price could be lowered. UST is provided in three versions, UST Standard, UST Index and UST Plinker.

HarpTuner update
The project move slowly forward, not as fast i had hoped due to that a couple of other people is involved now. However the new slider design looks just great and on Monday June 21 the sliders will be ready for the two prototypes, Hohner and Seydel. Thereafter the HT;s will be thoroghly tested. It seems now that the test will be completed in the end of June!

It is decided that the HarpTuner will be made for Seydel as well. Drawings and some details ready. Manufacturing of the tuner sliders starts tomorrow. It getting closer and i am feeling really excited about it.

A production meeting is planned on Sunday the 28 of May with the instrument builder.
The HarpTuner - HT
The HarpTuner goes into production within shortly and will be available directly from stock. It is estimated to be available from mid June. No pictures will be published for the HT until i have them in stock. The HT will be built by Peter Bengtsson, Sweden. Peter is a builder of the famous Georg Bolin 13 stringed alto guitars.

The comb making has, after a long period of time, finally got into a more fluent production. The Sjoeberg Custom GM and MB Combs will be made out of Bamboo within shortly. More info to come.
Sjoeberg UST Sizing Tool
With the UST Sizing Tool you are able to carry out embossing on the entire reed slot. It is primarily designed for the so important "last third" of the reed slot. The Embossing tool comes with intructions "How To".Kinya Pollard at Harmonicasessions.com has published an article for the UST.
